Review on Stylish and Durable: Victorinox Altmont Active Backpack Burgundy - Perfect for Active Lifestyles by Janet Williams

Excellent bag with one big flaw

The fabric is strong. The seam is strong. The zippers are not flimsy. The bag should last for years. But there is a problem. First a good point: it holds a lot of things. I can access the interior from the front and top. It has many pockets so I can keep things organized. There's no external cup holder, but there is a place to hang things. This is especially true if you use the included DIY bungee. One of my favorite features is the hinged (or rolling) lid. You fasten it with a belt. The bag reminds me of the Shimano Tokyo 17L Urban Touring Pack. Although I like Altmont more. And now to the problem. It doesn't fit my 15 inch Lenovo Y700. Oh, there's plenty of room in the padded laptop compartment. But the zipper opening in this compartment is quite long. The same goes for my Shimano bag. My laptop is not massive. , like many 15-inch laptops, it is slightly longer than the 15-inch. My Y700 is 15.25 inches long (or wide, depending on what you're looking at). The short zipper severely limits the use of the bag. Another quarter inch of the zipper and I'll be singing the praises of this bag. And since I need a laptop, Altmont stays at home and my old backpack goes to work every day.
