Stylish and comfortable

This backpack is very stylish, especially if you are looking for Seattle hipster aesthetic. The padding on the back is soft and looks like an egg carton. Therefore, it breathes well even in very hot weather. An easy-to-access rear pocket easily fits a 15-inch MacBook Pro with plenty of room for everything you need. The top-loading system is zipperless but folds securely. Haven't been outside in heavy rain yet but the material seems to repel water and the zippers are strong. It comes with a…

Hmm, well made but very different

I have full credit for Victorinox for taking their backpack design out of the box. However, the end result is too odd for my personal taste. It seems like they tried to make a duffel bag/backpack and while the end result isn't the weirdest I've seen, it's definitely different. The way you open an issue is completely different. Buckle and side zips, well, I know I use it a lot, but the word "other" springs to mind. I love a good backpack and while this one works the hybrid/duffle part prevents…

Excellent bag with one big flaw

The fabric is strong. The seam is strong. The zippers are not flimsy. The bag should last for years. But there is a problem. First a good point: it holds a lot of things. I can access the interior from the front and top. It has many pockets so I can keep things organized. There's no external cup holder, but there is a place to hang things. This is especially true if you use the included DIY bungee. One of my favorite features is the hinged (or rolling) lid. You fasten it with a belt. The bag…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick guide

The combination of backpack and duffel bag is like stuffing a bunch of stuff in it. My 15.5 inch HP touchscreen laptop fits perfectly. Large tablets are no problem. The laptop fits into the pocket in the main compartment and lies directly on the back. tight, you will press on the computer. There's enough padding for the computer, and the foldable design ensures it stays dry. I'm a fan of "Thing" open-top bags - they open WIDE and let you squeeze a lot of stuff inside. This one goes even further

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

The quality is good but the configuration is very strange.

This isn't your standard backpack, so this review might be a little longer than usual. I do not really understand. It's like a mini travel backpack. It's confusing so I'll do it by listing pix.Pic 1, you can see the front side. 2 zippers on each side leading to small half-width pockets. The two padded dots on the gray strap are padded handles for this style of carrying (although I find it uncomfortable when loaded). There is a full length zip down the center that opens into a full width storage

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
