Review on Stylish and Durable: Victorinox Altmont Active Backpack Burgundy - Perfect for Active Lifestyles by Rosalee Rivera

Hmm, well made but very different

I have full credit for Victorinox for taking their backpack design out of the box. However, the end result is too odd for my personal taste. It seems like they tried to make a duffel bag/backpack and while the end result isn't the weirdest I've seen, it's definitely different. The way you open an issue is completely different. Buckle and side zips, well, I know I use it a lot, but the word "other" springs to mind. I love a good backpack and while this one works the hybrid/duffle part prevents it from realizing its potential. It's like they just tried to do too many things for too many people and ended up failing for the majority who wanted to use it. Okay, "failed" might be too strong a word because it works, just in a very weird way. I don't know how else to describe it. For those looking for a backpack/duffle that is definitely different from the rest, this one will definitely fit. Plenty of room to pack and store, just be aware of the weirdness of how it all fits together beforehand and you'll find that frankly I was disappointed with this pack.
