counterfeit products. I registered this chair because it is not cheap. At the end of the registration process, a message will appear saying it is fake. The seat is comfortable so I can only imagine what the original would have been like. I will try this seat again at another seller. **I'm back to edit this review! So I thought the seat was fake and ordered another seat from the manufacturer while I still had the seat I bought on Amazon so I could compare. When I received the new seat directly from the manufacturer, they were identical. Everything from mold marks on the underlying plastic base to the packaging it came in. The barcodes on the packaging and even on the plastic bag for both seats were sent. These seats also have an erasable foil cover over the serial number on the underside of the seat that you remove to register. This cover was intact when I received the seat from Amazon. So the long story is a bit shorter, this seat I bought from Amazon is actually the original and the manufacturer will label it as "possibly counterfeit" to be able to control how their product is sold? I'm not sure. I'll take the seat from Amazon and send back the one I bought from the manufacturer. It's really comfortable and I'm happy to be able to put in miles without pain.
