Bought this part to fix p1457 Check Engine Code on my 2000 Honda Accord. The original valve installed in my car must have been leaking due to corrosion (it was quite rusty) which caused the code. This new part was relatively easy to fit (aside from the fact that the original 10mm bolt is very difficult to pry out when lying on my back under the car, I recommend fitting a new bolt). After installing this new valve and cleaning the check engine light by pulling the fuse, the check engine light has not come back and I have driven over 600 miles since then. The part comes with two bolts to hold the valve to the canister which is nice as the originals were rusty and had to be unscrewed with a vise. If you have this code, this part is most likely the culprit and can be easily and inexpensively fixed.
