This lamp is awesome! It comes with a 3.5mm auxiliary cable to plug in any audio device that fits 3.5mm, but can also use Bluetooth and a micro SD card. The speaker works really well and can handle different ranges of music with great sound. You can also use the speaker to answer phone calls. The light settings start with a white light with 3 different levels; low, medium, and high. You can also use about 5 different solid colors or strobing colors that pulse to the beat of your music. This thing is really cool. And, if needed, there is a D-ring on the bottom that you could hang the speaker from. It's an all around great product.
