If you have really good hydraulic brakes, they will probably fail you. If you're transitioning from mechanical, chances are you'll be impressed. resin pad. you suck Buy some metal pads when you place an order. If you have to detach the tubing on the back because you have holes on the frame for internal cable routing, good luck. Bleeding these brakes takes a year. If you are lucky. You may never get rid of sponginess. The bubbles just keep popping up. In any case, the piston in the master cylinder, which is located on the lever, rotated every time the lever was operated. I guess some Loctite would have fixed it but since I couldn't get the sponges out of my back despite the seller's instructions I sent them back. I went with a mix of a mechanical arm/cable and a hydraulically actuated caliper. They work great. I think they cost less than fifty dollars. The same brand. Same seller I believe.
