This wall mount is: TV Mounts, Stands & Turntables

I was looking for a simple and inexpensive wall mount for a 21" flat screen. AVF looked like the right thing. Some of the other types were either too difficult to install, too expensive, or just didn't hold the TV up well. This AVF was easy to install if you had the right tools. You'll need a small socket wrench, screwdriver, and drill press. Position it on the desired location and remember where the screws on the bracket line up with the TV. Mine were in the top third of the set so I had to take that into account when finding the wall plate. Use a spirit level to line up the wall plate properly, mark the holes, then drill, screw and bolt to the wall. The TV mount fits into the holes on the back ite of my TV (some other brands do not match Revain reviews). I learned that before installing the TV, you must tighten the nuts on the bracket to allow the TV to swing up and down. Once on the wall, the socket wrench is the only way to "set" the nuts so the TV stays at the desired angle and doesn't sag. The mount does NOT swivel from side to side but this is stated in the product description and suits my needs. Note. I bought these because other mount reviews said it was difficult to connect or disconnect cables once the TV was installed. With AVF this is not a problem. In fact, you may find that it's too far from the wall. The mount is 2 1/2" deep so my flat screen doesn't look like a picture frame on the wall. I'm fine with this as my fat hands can reach out to plug in headphones or turn off the power without removing the TV from the mount One more note: there are yellow clips on the TV mount that hold the two pieces together. You must release these clips if you wish to remove the TV from the wall mount. They work as intended, but you must remember to loosen them if you want to remove the TV from the bracket They can be difficult to reach but again the clearance from the wall comes in handy For the money this is a great product for a smaller TV I would give a 1 Subtracting /2 star for the box wrench issue, but if you have a well stocked toolbox you'll probably be fine.
