I just received the treetop. i really like it You just plug it in like any other treetop and watch a beautiful snowflake. So I hope it lasts a long time. I need an update. I just took a little time to attach the treetop to my tree. It's a nice top for a tree, but for people in my 60's in shorts, like me at 52, who are widows, it can be difficult to attach to your tree. I had to tie some more wire, but it lowered the top of the tree. The part that is at the top of your tree is very wide because the top of the tree has little weight. I hope the company finds another way, an easier way, to attach it to the top of the tree. It's a great price and well worth the money, just a hassle to attach to the top of your tree. Hope that helps.
