I really need a wide zoom. I pecked at the reviews on this lens. I took it for a test and did not understand why people like it so much. For its cost, it has simply disgusting optical qualities. Sharpness is only in the center, at the edges, and even more so the corners without tears you wonβt look, terrible soap. What upsets even more is HA, worthy of only the cheapest glasses. Since I switched to Sony from Canon, there has been a continuous problem with optics. Yes, a lot of new models have come out lately, but the price! For 12-24 they want 140 and this is still by God, other new items are much more expensive. But again, it's not clear what's wrong with the picture quality. And something that has a more or less sane price, like this 10-18, is completely unsuitable for the quality of the output picture. Someone can say that this is shirik, it cannot be without frank soap and HA. But Fuji has proven that it is quite possible, as well as Sigma. By the way, if an analogue from Fuji has a comparable cost, then Sigma is generally 2 times cheaper! What a pity that Sony can not give out at least something close in quality. At least take the second system for a wide angle. And in general, with Sony's pricing, which consists in the fact that it is either cheap and bad or very expensive, I want to change the system once again. Where lenses are average in quality and price. Why are mid-ranges as bad as cheap ones?
