These are a great value for what you get. There are so many different brushes to choose from and they are easy to clean. I took off one star because some of the brushes had errant hairs poking up that needed to be trimmed a little. This was only an issue when I was trying to get a very straight line or painting something very precise. Great for beginners and kids, especially if you don't want your kids to mess with your expensive brushes. These are good to work with to get a feel for how the different brush shapes work before going and buying more professional quality brushes.
