Review on 🕊 Raven R1509 3 inch PVC Termination Vent: Stainless Steel Screen Included! by Eric Broad

Just what I need to keep bugs out of the oven air intake without restricting airflow. This PVC vent is exactly the same size as a 3" PVC pipe and therefore needs to be inserted into a 3" coupling. It fits snugly and precisely into the sleeve, so no cement or sealant is required during installation. The only downside to the couplers I found in a local big box is that they are quite long which causes the vent to stick out further than usual. j. I would like to see a sleeve sized version of this strainer so I can just slide it over the end of the PVC pipe without an extra part. I understand that this would probably be a non-standard course of action, but such exhaust systems are often of rather arbitrary design anyway. The old design (which I replaced) had slats to keep birds out but did little to keep bugs out. , and looking rough after 20 years on the street. Glad to have a nicer and more efficient screen over the furnace entrance. highlighted.
