Perfect replacement
I received this after my Sony remote stopped sending signals to my TV despite numerous battery changes. This remote control is almost identical except that it doesn't have the Sony branding. The finish isn't as smooth as the original, but that's ok. The buttons have a more positive click when you press them. I have absolutely no complaints. Great remote and you wouldn't know it wasn't original unless you actually looked at it. Highly recommended.
