Easily solve a common problem with VitaMix

I work in the hospitality industry and the VitaPrep/VitaMix is a standard arsenal in any commercial kitchen. Unfortunately, bad speed dialing is a problem with EVERY model I've ever used. The last place I worked had 6 VitaPreps and only 1 didn't have this problem - probably because it was very new. As much as I love the VitaMix, I'm disappointed in their carelessness in denying the problem and making units with poor potentiometers. Most of them last less than a year in a commercial kitchen before starting to choke and boot up unpredictably. Walk into a commercial kitchen and you'll see splashes on the ceiling to prove your point. What makes me angry is that in the past I have contacted customer service just to be told they have never heard of this issue. I actually threw away two 5000 VitaMix because of this. I was told that I could not solve the problem. Fast forward to this week if I happen to see this part on Revain! I already bought a new 5200 but figured it would cost $24 to try and fix the problem it replaced. I watched a video on YouTube and it's very easy to replace. This took about 10 minutes. My old VitaMix works great now!
