No glue required
First of all, this kit includes some square pieces of adhesive tape to attach to the rPi3b+ chips (I didn't use them). I ordered this heatsink in addition to the Artic Silver 5 compound and attached it to the rPi3b+ board with small Velcro fasteners. I used Artic Silver 5 Compound and applied it to the rPi3b+ chips. Since then I haven't had any more freezing problems. The thing is cool and also in the case. The fan is connected to pin 2 (red wire 5V) and 6 (black wire GND).
