Keeps time or is just a little fast and not enough to be a real problem. But the "hours" hand is too short to be seen against the glow (zinc sulfide I suspect) and is difficult to see even in good light. The hour hand should be slightly longer OR the hour and minute hands should be a contrasting color for readability. However, this watch is in "almost" condition, which is a bit frustrating. It would be wiser to sacrifice the second in the dark hand.
