This duvet allows my fiance and I to sleep in the same bed. For a while I thought we'd be a couple sleeping in separate beds. It's a bit strange, but I've always been warm (woman) and my fiancé has always been cold. This duvet has warmer (thick) and cooler (thin) sides, so we no longer need extra duvets on the bed. Fortunately, the blanket looks the same after washing as it did before washing. Sometimes duvets crumple after washing. Cotton is also very soft! If you are arguing/fighting with the person you share a bed with because there are too many/not enough blankets on the bed, this could be a good blanket for you. I will probably buy another one for my boyfriend who is getting married next year!
