Review on πŸ¦… Eagle Creek Specter Garment Folder for Efficient Packing Organization - Travel Accessories by Ruby Thomas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well made but a bit heavy

I've been using Eagle Creek's standard Packit blocks for many years and decided to switch to the Specter line when I upgraded my touring pack to the Opsrey Farpoint 40 . This folder is lighter than my old design and has some nice features and a premium feel. I especially like the finish around the plastic folding insert, I think it gives a finished look to this product. This cube is heavy compared to other ghost cubes, but that's to be expected given the rigidity required. I usually use this stylish cube for dress pants and collared shirts when business trips require it. I actually need this cube for about 20% of my travel time. I can pack enough shirts and a pair of dress pants into this cube to host a 3-4 day trade show without extra hotel ironing. Any creases I get are minor and usually fall out after hanging. I don't see any difference between the velcro on this cube and the velcro on my older cube, and I don't see a problem using the cubes for other items in my backpack. Nothing comes in my bag without a dice, so the dice really protect items from scratches and bumps. The Specter series of dice is more expensive than other dice on the market and to my knowledge worth the extra cost. The quality and finish is top notch, and packing around the home and on the go is quick and efficient, the Specter line is lightweight and doesn't add any real extra weight to my pack. I recommend this dice line to all my colleagues.
