I have no idea what most of the items in this set are used for. I also can't imagine going to setting 2 unless you're trying to ruin the drywall. It gets fast fast and I only found it marginally useful before it got too big. I'm sure these massagers are of great use, I've seen players use them on the sidelines. It's too much for my wounds. The main reason for the rating is that the battery doesn't last long and I found that it almost always had to be plugged into a charger when not in use. I also had starting problems. The touchpad doesn't seem to be responsive and I found that I had to manually rock the device's head to get the touchpad to respond. I've seen many models of this type of massager and while I can't comment on other brands I can say this one works but has some issues.
