These bags are much larger than they appear in the pictures. I bought them before a cross-country tour. I bought a set of large and medium bags. But secretly I wish I had found a set with two large bags, because I just like to take a lot of extra things with me when I travel. I chose the smaller of the two cosmetic bags. I don't like to take the risk of packing my makeup in my luggage in case it arrives late or is handled in a way that breaks my makeup. Anyway, I put it in my backpack/hand luggage to save myself the hassle of swapping everything out. I had a lot there. I filled it to the brim with everything I needed from primer to setting spray. I had a face foundation, an eye foundation, eyeshadow and complementary eyeshadow, brow pomade, loose powder, compact contour powder, concealer, mascara, blush and lipsticks. In addition to the makeup I brought I added extra eye shadow brushes, perfume, eye drops and maybe something else. What I liked was that with all those products in the bag, it stayed upright and I could see what I was looking at, even with all those items in the bag, the see-through panel and bottom made it that much easier to find . Cosmetics or brushes I was looking for. A large bag will of course hold more and larger items. I had a lot of products in my bag for my "aging" textured hair. My bag contains travel mousse, hairspray, hair oil spray, regular hair gel, heat protectant for hair, water spray bottle, dry shampoo, dry shampoo, conditioner, extra leave-in conditioner, full size brush, hair clip, bobby pins and bobby pins. Regardless of the number of items in the bag, the walls hold up well, they don't sag or submerge. They are very durable and well constructed. One last note, I've attached photos to show how much space I had inside even with all my stuff. These bags are also easy and convenient to use. The transparent panels let me see what was inside before panicking about forgetting something. I'll probably look around the house for other uses for the bags. Great price, great product!
