Review on 20-Pack Merka Disposable Baby Placemats - Stick To Table & Protect Restaurant Surface For Babies, Toddlers Or Kids | 4 Designs (Letters, Numbers, Shapes & Colors) by Timothy Jimenez

The tape isn’t that great…

At restaurants we are those types of parents who have their own high chair cover and their own placemats for their child since we don’t trust the cleanliness of the rags being used. So we rely on these disposable mats quite often. I decided to give these a shot and was a bit disappointed. The adhesive used just isn’t that great and when pulling off the protective film the tape actually came off with it. Note that we have used other brands in the past and this hasn’t ever been a problem. Thankfully we were able to somewhat stretch the tape back out and adhere the mat onto the table. I’ll probably still end up using the rest of the pack but I will definitely be bringing more backup mats in case the adhesive doesn’t work at all. Otherwise the pattern is pretty good my kiddo spent her time pointing at shapes and was pleased.

Pros
  • A perfect size: Measuring 12" x 18" each, these colorful, educational mats provide a nice big eating surface for babies and toddlers at the dining table at home or in a restaurant
Cons
  • May not be suitable for outdoor use or windy conditions

They stick okay, but not well enough for a roddler. If she just swipes her hand across and it hits the edg it pulls the whole mat with it. The poctires are nice. Might work better for an older or calmer child lol.
