I like this cable because I have an iPhone SE (256GB) and an iPad Pro 3rd gen. With these special adapters, it extends to the devices I own (USB-C and Lightning) and I don't have to worry about the power/port side (USB-A or USB-C). While I wouldn't say I've really "stress tested" the cable, I've used it consistently for the past 6 months or so, including fast charging in the car, consistent use at home, or when powered USB-A. bricked up or connected to a PC, and especially while waiting 2 to 4 hours from home. I stream movies or music, play games, surf the web, etc. The connector ends and adapters are strong enough that they have yet to show reasonable wear and tear from moderate to heavy use. I'm not going to give my opinion on Apple's insistence on using Apple products, but I will say that the $16 I paid for this product is much more reasonable. It's just a good cable and it turned out to be what I needed.
