Call me smug but I only bought this for blending natural nut butters after getting tired of stirring settled oil by hand. I chose this tool because it easily fits into small jars and because it's made of stainless steel, which shouldn't rust or poison your food. Good news: He's just great. Start with butter at room temperature or a few degrees warmer. Attach a variable speed drill, dip the device into the can and start at low speed. Move the tool up and down and towards the edges of the can, gradually increasing the speed. Mix the separated contents in less than a minute. Store nut butter in the refrigerator. The tool is easily cleaned by placing it in hot, soapy water and running the drill at very low speed for a few seconds. If this is your goal, you will be happy.
