Real trampoline. It's easy to put together (although it may take a minute to get your bearings if you look at the pictures for instructions!), but it wasn't really difficult. The security features are great. The child cannot come into contact with the feathers. My husband and I own a pediatric OT/PT/SLP practice. We know trampolines well. So I was very picky about which hausstreicher I bought. I wanted to buy something for my 3 year old to really get some energy. Mini Roamer would be useless for this purpose as he cannot jump into a small intentional space. He needed a place to jump and fall, break and sprawl. This trampoline is perfect for this purpose. He has enough room to turn around and really tap into that roaring source of baby energy. We have a fairly large basement, but the trampoline didn't really take up enough space to make the rest of the room unusable. I'm almost 5 feet 5 inches tall. I weigh 110 pounds. I jumped on the trampoline with my son and he felt very capable of supporting my weight. It has a big rebound like a full size trampoline. (My husband is 6ft 1in and 195lbs and didn't even want to risk standing on it.) So I'd say it's good for kids ages 2-12. The price was very reasonable. The quality is excellent. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an indoor (or even outdoor) trampoline for their little ones!
