The light was bright but the problem was the length of the cord between the lamps. Hanging it right in the garage will work fine, but if you're planning on hanging it from a tree like I did, the wires between the lights are too short, about 11 inches. and it won't look right on the tree, it's not long enough to blast them apart. So I sent it back the same day I received it. It also didn't have a remote control.
