In terms of engineering, it's a really solid gadget. Efficient evaporative disk system; turbine-type blowing (also well-balanced, silent, and prolific for the same reason); side air intake from the outside. Water may be added through the top, and it's simple to clean. I had no idea what I would say about China's technological miracle, yet. The book was excellent; I enjoyed it very much.
