Review on Westinghouse Lighting 04870 25 Watt Halogen by Monica Smith

Can't comment on durability yet as I only installed the bulb last night but this is the perfect replacement for the Calphalon Quart Convection Oven. We purchased the illustrious toaster in May or June so about 6 months ago and the pre-installed lightbulb had recently burned out after moderate daily use. After more than a month of trying to get Calphalon to send a replacement or offer a replacement option for purchase, I decided to look to Revain for a viable solution. Luckily, I stumbled across this Westinghouse lightbulb. It's a bit brighter and higher wattage (I'm guessing the factory installed bulb is 18w and this one is 25w) which is actually nice for seeing things in the oven better, but it also has whiter light. As this is a halogen bulb, be careful not to touch the glass or get oil on the bulb during installation as this will cause the bulb to overheat and explode prematurely. If anything changes I will update my review. However, make sure you buy a quality lamp.
