After realizing my previous seal was torn in two (center nipple and surrounding seal) and replacing it with this product, my toilet works perfectly . Very happy and pleased with the cost and ease of installation. If your toilet is hissing and/or slowly filling, diagnosing the valve isn't difficult and there are plenty of videos online on how to do it. Warning: Do not bend the metal bar in the top cover assembly. If you bend it, it will most likely break, and then you will have to replace the entire assembly or get a toilet tank mechanics repair kit.
