Edit original review: I think I should add that the company contacted me about the ink and offered a refund or replacement of the product. For that reason I feel I should add another star as they put in enough effort to get the issue right. The grip is great. Holds a good amount of ink. It's a bit sharp, but you don't have to press hard with the glass handle anyway. My issue is the ink itself. When I opened the package I noticed that there was some ink where the ink bottle was, so I figured maybe it had leaked a bit. But when I lifted the vial to close the lid after checking the handle, the entire bottom of the glass fell out. In fact, all the ink was on my floor and my leather Tul notebook. So now there is a red ink stain on my floor and I need to replace the tul cover. For that reason, I definitely wouldn't gift it to anyone. You will have an upset recipient if this happens to them.
