I already have one of these clamp type surge protectors and paid more. I liked it so much I wanted another for another room and found this one to be exactly what I wanted and $12 less than the retail store where I bought my original. I can easily plug everything in without having to move furniture to get to the outlet. 6 outlets, charging port for my computer and my phone or kindle! It's also very handy in my kitchen! I attached it to the end of my island where I have an exit. Now I can plug in my food processor, slow cooker, blender, blender, etc., leave it plugged in and just turn off the power, when not in use. Not even talked about being able to charge my phone and use my laptop (plugged in) at the same time! Well!
