It works but I had to replace them a few times due to burnout. It just hangs there with no problem until a problem arises; nothing obvious to cause it. There's no sign of over-voltage, excessive current draw, or more moisture than usual. One burned out in heavy rain because water apparently got between the joints. You can't blame the product for that. Others burned on dry days, minding their own business (parties). I keep a box full of these things to deal with whatever I find in RV sites old or new.
