More convenient than lugging around a 25ft power cord when I only need 110 volts to charge my van's batteries. You need an adapter from 30 amps to 110.

Not exactly what I expected. The three-prong plug is rated for 120 volts, and the 90-degree locking socket has an internal jumper that provides 120 volts to both rails of the RV's power panel simultaneously. !

I've only used it 4 or 5 times, kept it indoors and the cord/plug failed within 2 weeks of the warranty expiring. One of the three ports is open, meaning it no longer works. VERY disappointed with the money spent. I want my money back. I'm not sure if the manufacturer supports this or not. Returns are welcome.

It works but I had to replace them a few times due to burnout. It just hangs there with no problem until a problem arises; nothing obvious to cause it. There's no sign of over-voltage, excessive current draw, or more moisture than usual. One burned out in heavy rain because water apparently got between the joints. This is a quality adapter at a great price! This relieves stress on the RV connector by orienting the cable at a 90 degree angle. I was very pleased with this adapter and it worked great for what I needed it for. I have very little space between the fence and my house and I find it difficult to connect a regular 50Amp wire when the unit is parked. This gives me a space to go to after it's parked and also converts it to the 30 amp outlet I have at home. It is well made, durable and safe.
