I know I'm a bit dated, but I needed a new CD player. I have some burned mix CDs (guess my generation now? haha) that I can't even tell you where the music originally came from and I love them so much and I don't have anything to play them. Also, I really wanted to have a snooze function so I could play my late night soothing CDs without accidentally disconnecting in the middle of the night/day (night shift life) and the lack of sound not waking me up. The remote control is powerful enough that I can use it in the master bedroom without getting out of bed and the sound quality is good. Not tinny and not too heavy bass. Also loud enough to be heard in the main and bathroom. It has a beautiful slim body and a look that allows it to sit on our fireplace TV console and blend in with the decor without being obnoxious.
