Review on Perfect Stix Green Fork Cutlery by Jose Strong

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Tastes like wood but is still pretty good

Update 21 April 2016: Upgraded from 3 to 4 stars because I was able to use the same fork for a month to to eat grapefruit in the morning. After a month I broke it on purpose to see how strong it is and I was only able to break part of the handle which turned out to be even stronger than I expected. I can't break this part. They still taste like wood and can occasionally splinter, so test each item before giving it to your kids. , rice, pasta and other soft foods, but not so much for pork chops, thick steaks, fresh vegetables or other hard foods. If you remember the elementary school sundae that came with a flat wooden spoon, that wood is a little thinner. ASTES LIKE WOOD (surprise?) with every bite. The great thing about this and all other wooden utensils is that they have so many other uses: - they can be painted on for art projects - wood glue holds them together really well. , - they don't melt when mixed with two part epoxy - they burn nicely without releasing toxins - very easily and won't set off airport metal detectors. The next purchase in this department will probably be some kind of bamboo,

Pros
  • 6" eco-friendly wooden fork
Cons
  • So far so good
