The block is not the same as in the photo.

Not as shown. Installation should take 10-20 minutes if you remove the taillights and connect the gizmos - no further wiring required. The actual device came with a red power lead and a built in fuse with instructions on how to connect to the battery, run the wire under the car and connect to the box. For real? Under guardianship with bare wire? Even with plastic ties (there are 3 of them - that's enough) it doesn't sound quite right and of course it's not easy. NOT what the product description and other comments say. Wrote mfr for clarification - I guess they never check the 'contact us' section on their site. I bought another brand - everything was ready and installed in 10 minutes. Not happy with Hopkins.
