I bought a small unit that you plug into my RV's outlet and was amazed but consistent low voltages I was receiving at several campsites 106v-112v. I was about to buy a regular surge protector, but I never knew anything about low voltage. looked around and this very expensive item looked like it was custom made to solve my problems. It came in its own packaging which had pictures of it and also said it was very heavy (10-15lbs?) so I think you want a safe place to ship it. I plugged it into the base and my camper van and it worked, I switched from 110v to 120v straight away. This unit turns on and off as needed and comes with a small cord lock. Low voltage kills your devices and electronics, this device prevents me from ever being without one again.
