I regret not returning them when they first arrived. This is a very stiff, rough flannel, not soft at all. I was hoping they would soften up after a few washes, but many washes didn't. Even more disappointing is that they barely fit my 15 inch mattress. I had to take my 2 inch topper off in order for them to fit. This WAS the reason I chose these flannel sheets over the other options as they claimed to fit a mattress up to 24 inches deep. They barely fit my 15 inch mattress, the top of the corner gussets does NOT extend from corner to corner. You are too small. The pillowcases are also very narrow and fit my medium pillows snugly. For the price I would have expected better quality.
