Bad value! Unacceptably short lifespan!

Purchased in January 2018 to upgrade 6 year old headlights on my Subaru Forester when one of the regular Philips bulbs had completely burned out. I installed them with clean gloves to avoid contaminating the capsule. A slightly brighter light was good for about 8 months. Now WITHIN ONE WEEK BOTH NEW bulbs have blown. I've now saved one of the OEM bulbs until I can find a replacement. Slightly brighter light at a significantly higher price is definitely NOT worth it due to the VERY SHORT LIFETIME!
