Review on 📱 Satechi GoMate Waterproof Phone Case - iPhone 6/7, Galaxy S7 Edge, S7, Note 4, Nexus 6/5, HTC One & More - IPX8 Certified Water Resistance up to 100 Feet by Matt Mosley

As an avid kayak fisherman I have used several waterproof cases to keep my phone safe and accessible on the water. The GoMate case appears to be made from higher quality materials and should be more durable than similarly priced cases. The double closure, zip and velcro should be enough to keep the case closed and sealed. I could easily fit an iPhone 6 with a Pelican case in my pocket. Many other cases I've tried have required me to remove my everyday protective case. As expected, fingerprint activation doesn't work in this case, conversation and audio are a bit muffled, and image clarity may be affected. All this is expected in this case. My only complaint or concern regarding this case is the location of the lanyard attachment points. Since the attachment points are "up" and the brackets are "down", the phone may fall out if the bracket breaks. It adds another layer of security by placing the attachment points on top, and the gyroscopic features on the phones ensure proper alignment. Overall this case works as advertised and appears to be of a higher quality than many on the market. Will definitely add it to my gear next time I get in the water. Sample received for review.
