Review on πŸ”Š Get Together Duo by House of Marley: High-Powered Bookshelf Speakers with Bluetooth Connectivity and Environmentally-friendly Materials by Prem Robinson

Good but not quite wireless and adding more bass

I really like these speakers - they have good qualities and not so good ones. Personally, I won't use a wireless speaker per se and just leave it tucked in a corner. 1 speaker must always be plugged in and the other has a battery. That means 1 wireless speaker comes with a USB cable and a plug adapter. The other speaker has a standard plug. It's not entirely clear what the difference is, but here it is. It also comes with 4 different adapters depending on the state - cool but not very eco-friendly as I now have 6 metal and plastic pieces that weren't needed and won. Not used. Stop being lazy and follow your motto of reducing waste. Both speakers have a power button. You have to turn on 1, then the other, and then connect them via Bluetooth - every time! It would be nice if both were turned on, they just knew each other and connected automatically. It's a little annoying having to add an extra step each time to connect them, but at least the connection is stable. The sound can get nice and loud, I just wish it had more bass, which Marley is usually known for being very bass heavy. I like their sound, it just seems fuller with a bit more bass. Their compact size is also good and allows you to place them in different places without taking up too much space. Like all Marley products they have a great natural look with wood tones and fabric accents to complement most decors. I find the price a little steep, but at least you know you're getting durable quality from Marley. . They have become my favorite speakers. Recommended - especially when you see them on sale

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
