Non-Portable Stereo

I was under the impression these were rechargeable portable stereo speakers. The right speaker is USB charging and portable, but it's mono. The left speaker requires power for sound and stereo. Not portable. As I expected, it won't work. But for near-quiet desktop speakers, I really like their sound.

Bluetooth, rechargeable speaker and 1 AC speaker required

This set requires a power cord for true stereo. Only one speaker is battery operated. Nevertheless, this speaker has a good sound. Not an outstanding sound, but good sound with lots of volume. I like speakers in wooden cases. It's nice to be able to place a portable speaker anywhere without a cable connection. That's what I love about these bookshelf speakers. I hope you found this review honest and helpful :-)

Uniquely attractive design combined with excellent sound.

These speakers are great for adding sound to any room. The materials used and the overall look of the speakers are a welcome change from what is commonly seen in other desktop and Bluetooth speakers. All packaging is recyclable and the speaker design is geared towards sustainability. The right speaker can be used wirelessly. via Bluetooth and charges via USB-C. When playing audio from my phone at 50-65% volume, I missed the advertised 20 hours. The speakers together have great highs with good…

The easiest 5 star rating I have ever given. Fantastic speakers!

Summary: These are excellent desktop speakers with build and sound quality that, in my opinion, far exceed their cost. First, let's talk about looks. These things look amazing. The sides have nice light wood (technically bamboo) with black cloth material on the sides. Not the usual chipboard you usually see in speakers. The build quality of these speakers is excellent and I can tell you that some effort has gone into the design and construction of these speakers. Sound Quality: These things…

Nice regular sounding speakers with exceptional versatility

They look great and have a low, minimalist profile. You also have the option of using the speakers individually. One of the speakers is powered by USB, you can take it with you on the go, on the street, in different rooms, etc. The sound is good. It just can be. Using it for Bluetooth Spotify, Spotify via an RCA connection from a computer and an AUX cable from a TV is all so-so. The lack of physical depth exacerbates the lack of bass depth. The mids are actually okay, but the highs seem…

Good but not quite wireless and adding more bass

I really like these speakers - they have good qualities and not so good ones. Personally, I won't use a wireless speaker per se and just leave it tucked in a corner. 1 speaker must always be plugged in and the other has a battery. That means 1 wireless speaker comes with a USB cable and a plug adapter. The other speaker has a standard plug. It's not entirely clear what the difference is, but here it is. It also comes with 4 different adapters depending on the state - cool but not very…

Great looks, good sound, weird functionality

These speakers look very good and the sound is good if not great for the price but it looks like they're going through an identity crisis suffer: They wear them not knowing who they are or want to be. You have one speaker that charges via a USB-C input and the other via a regular DC adapter. Although both have wired inputs, there's no way to run a cable between them for lag-free listening (in other words, unless you're using your TV's two RCA outputs, presumably with an amplifier or splitter…

Pros
  • Best in their niche

  • There are issues

Great looking great sounding Bluetooth speakers

CONCLUSION There are cheaper speakers that probably sound as good as these from House of Marley but I doubt they look as good as they are made from eco friendly materials are made. If you value these things, this is a good buy. SETTING UP was easy. I turned them on and connected them to "Get Together Duo" on my iPhone connected to the right speaker. The instructions with the icons in the manual are tiny, but I guessed it: hold the Bluetooth button on the left speaker for 2 seconds and it will…

Very good sound, asymmetric configuration confused

Duet "Together" is an interesting beast. It consists of two speakers that are almost, but not quite, identical and can work as separate mono speakers or as a stereo pair. For some reason there is a battery in the right speaker but not in the left. Both speakers announce their name as "Get Together Duo", but when you stereo pair them (putting them in pairing mode at the same time) they appear as a single "Get Together Duo x2" speaker. two speakers, a stereo RCA cable (both speakers have stereo…
