Duet "Together" is an interesting beast. It consists of two speakers that are almost, but not quite, identical and can work as separate mono speakers or as a stereo pair. For some reason there is a battery in the right speaker but not in the left. Both speakers announce their name as "Get Together Duo", but when you stereo pair them (putting them in pairing mode at the same time) they appear as a single "Get Together Duo x2" speaker. two speakers, a stereo RCA cable (both speakers have stereo RCA input jacks), a power adapter for the left speaker, and a USB power adapter with a USB-A to USB-C cable (the power connector on the right speaker is USB -C). Both power adapters come with replacement plugs for the US, UK, Europe and Australia markets so you can use them anywhere in the world. The speakers are very compact and quite light, but they sound very good. The finishes are beautiful with bamboo front and back and trendy black fabric on the sides. They use a closed design known for delivering accurate bass, albeit a less accurate bass reflex (ported woofer) design. While the idea of having a battery-powered speaker that can be separated from the stereo pair seems intriguing, it actually makes sense to use it: with exposed, exposed speakers and fine finishes, it should be on a bookshelf rather than in a suitcase or at the Beach. So envisioning home use on a bookshelf if possible, plugging in any of the speakers is undesirable so there might be some appeal in getting stereo sound wirelessly by charging the right speaker on a regular basis. For more regular use, you can leave both speakers on. However, there's a problem: whether they're on or not, they have an auto-off feature: after five minutes of silence, they both turn off. To turn them back on, you have to press the power button on each speaker, then press and hold the Bluetooth button to reconnect the pair (they don't seem to connect automatically). Auto-off and stereo pairing are the most annoying "features" of this beautiful speaker set. If it hadn't been for that, it would have been a solid 4 stars. But the combination of auto power off and Bluetooth stereo pairing makes them really troublesome to use. Conclusion: Beautiful surfaces and a pleasant sound cannot make up for the quirky design decisions. The stereo pairing is more of a hassle than it's worth, a single battery is the solution for me when I'm looking for a problem, and this price point is full of very high quality products that it just can't compete with. Unless you have a very specific application for a single battery design, there is a better choice.
