I bought this monitor primarily for gaming. The main game I play is Rust, which has a lot of night fights where seeing well in different shades of black/darkness is very important. I had no idea what backlight bleeding was in front of this screen, and no matter what settings I tried, it was like full-screen glare in night scenes, making the game completely unplayable in the dark. I had to send it back and have since heard that these ASUS displays have a lot of backlight issues, but that's also coincidence. In this case, I decided to go with another monitor brand.
