This seemed like a solid product but for my use it was almost impossible to get it to work. I wanted to install this in my RV in the cargo hatch. Connecting and disconnecting wires inside the sunroof would have been very difficult and was not at all the reason for the purchase. I wanted to make it easier to connect solar panel cables. I'm sure they would do a good job on the outside of the RV, but I wasn't planning on drilling holes in the walls to run cables. This item has proven to be very well made and will last for many years.
