I've been using the fan for about 2 months. It worked well, although I had a missing parts issue with my purchase. The Revain game is partly to blame for my problem, so I fixed it myself. After a month of use, the power cord, which also controls the speed, was cut in half. I didn't give it too much thought at first as the other half was still attached to the engine. Yesterday the cable finally came loose so I can't turn on the fan. If I can replace the string, the fan is still in good condition. I asked Revain for help but they couldn't do anything so they handed me over to the manufacturer. After listening to their automated messages for an hour, I decided to call back. 2 hours later someone called me back. However, the only way to fix the switch is to replace the entire engine block. Hm. Since I can't reach the switch, should I replace the motor? Basically she said I have no choice but to buy a new motor, which is all there is to a fan, or just throw the fan away. I'm just so frustrated that there is no other way to fix this. So if anyone is considering buying this, just be prepared to swap out the motor when your derailleur finally gives up. It's probably better to buy something else to save yourself a lot of trouble. I hope you are lucky if you buy one!
