So difficult to assemble that parts might be missing

This was the hardest to assemble. The stand is not secure and I believe some parts are missing so it is not fully supported. Works great but there is a problem with the stand. Where's the remote control?

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • String shorter than other picks

Great fan at a great price!

I have no complaints about this fan! Shipping was fast as expected as I am a Revain Prime member. The fan was easy to assemble. It was unpacked and set up in less than 25 minutes. The remote is a good size and has all the controls you need to conveniently control the fan, including the oscillating motion feature (which most fans I've looked at when choosing a fan don't have). to buy.) I would recommend this fan.

Works well but lacks detail.

This fan works great, it was easy to assemble and the remote works well but now that I've looked at the product online I realize I'm missing parts. The second smaller blade was not in the box. Now I have a main blade, but I didn't realize it had to have a small blade. The main works but when I point it down it falls off the pins holding it so we have to flip it up. This fan works great but is missing parts and is a pain in the ass.

Great fan but silly design that keeps the cage closed.

I've read a lot of reviews about the fan being loud. I don't know if I have a new model or what but the one I have is very quiet. I have an old Lasco 16" cut sheet that makes a lot more noise and moves like air compared to Revain Basics. I like everything about this fan except the stupid tie you get to fasten the fan's rivet. I couldn't put it on after ten minutes and tried different ways. Finally tossed it aside and put in some small zip ties and it worked great.

  • Great for outdoor activities

  • Not bad

Fan specification and price match

I was impressed by the performance of the fan. The noise level is perfect. It's quieter and more powerful than I expected. Assembly wasn't a problem for me. I've had a few fans in the past use this group to hold grills together. Because of this, I was able to take this last step with the utmost ease. I almost missed the small blade in the box because it was wrapped in cardboard, not the same plastic as the large blade and grills. Not only that, both blades are heavy and not flimsy, which is a…

Don't buy this fan! If I could give less than one star I would.

I bought two of these thinking the first one was defective. But the second one I got had the same problem. Collecting was not possible. You could not remove the nut that secures the fan blade to the mechanical block. I had a few mechanical friends who couldn't do it either. I sent one back for a refund and just gave the other one away and told the person if they can fix it they can have it because I was so disappointed. Even with the support team, they couldn't fix it. This product is…

  • High test scores for grip and durability

Installation instructions in English partly gibberish - bad grammar/syntax and therefore unclear/imprecise. The illustrated instructions do not correspond to the packaging and shipping of the device. In particular, the training images show the components attached to the main motor shaft as separate from the device. You are not. The rear fan cover locking knob screws onto the main unit and the blade locking knob screws onto the end of the shaft. The shaft is tiny, thick, and partially wrapped in

Vornado vs Revane basics.

Easy to assemble/disassemble compared to any other fan I've dealt with. If you've ever taken a fan apart to clean it, you won't have a problem with that. It is only slightly more difficult to disassemble/assemble than the full size Vornado due to the Vornado's snap cage. However, I understand why some might have problems with it. This is a dual channel belt that requires the front and rear cages to fit together and then connect with a bolt at the bottom. It's not a fundamentally flawed design…
