I tried this hair accessory for the first time. I have long straight fine hair but I have a lot of it which makes it seem like my hair is actually very thick (I know it's confusing but others with my hair type will understand! lol). Another way to explain this is that I have a lot of hair, but each strand of hair is actually fine, smooth and straight. I've always used soft "no-touch" hair ties to tie my hair back because barrettes and clips slip off or give me a headache. Also, my hair is too thick for most clips and bobby pins unless I wear huge ones, but they look silly. Anyway, I was curious about it after watching a few YouTube videos on how to use it, so I decided to give it a try. They really work great! I can use them individually and they're good, but I've found that if I first tie my hair in a ponytail with a hair elastic and then use it to pull my hair into a messy bun (or neat bun) they're even stronger and they're even stronger really stay in place. I don't need hairspray or other hair products, and I don't need barrettes or anything - they just stay put. Doesn't pull and doesn't hurt your head. I find them very comfortable and in fact I don't even feel them in my hair. They are really great and I'm really glad I found them!
