Faster and easier with lens caps

I didn't really pay much attention to lens caps until I switched to DSLR video. I know a lot of professional photographers don't like lens caps and prefer the speed of running and shooting, but I want to protect thousands of dollars worth of lenses when they're not in use. And it's a good thing I did because a few months ago I returned late one night after a long journey, grabbed my camera bag (Tamrac 5788 Evolution 8 Photo/Laptop Sling Backpack Bag (Black)) and slung it over my shoulder thrown, aiming to get in the door. For the first time in my life, one of my favorite lenses (135mm) fell to the ground in the dark due to a loose side case.#%@#%(#*@#%! At first glance everything looked fine. Upon further inspection inside and Lens cap hit straight in the morning and broke off Not a single scratch on the lens - pure luck in the fall What led me to this quick center clamp change Now I've replaced all my caps with Canon center clamp caps First with the video I shoot with glass/teleprompter hood. you) - it hurts to find her and let go. Brackets - no problem. Also shooting with lens hoods (photo/video) and now the big matte box (video) is so much easier to reach the center and pinch/pull. All else being equal I have to say - I think these center clip plugs look even better, they look more solid (probably not) and they look more serious. Our reason or your need, you will not be disappointed with these genuine Canon caps.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
