Perfect Keyboard Case (without a problem) ONE MONTH UPDATE

****This is an edit of my original review. I'm writing this edit on January 27th, 2020 after the keyboard case took just over a month to complete. I have to say the battery is phenomenal. I use the keyboard quite a bit and haven't had to charge it yet. The battery percentage shows 54%. just wow. The only problem I'm having at the moment is with the Apple Pencil holder. The initially solid grip of the pencil was completely worn out, and now the real fabric that the holder is made of is beginning to tear. Very disappointed with the design of the holder. The keyboard is such a great product but one issue is a big minus for me. I'm only deducting one star from my original review because I have a glaring design flaw. If you're looking for the perfect keyboard case for your iPad Pro 10.5, look no further, you've found it! I've tried several keyboard cases including the Yekbee keyboard case which has the exact same design as this one and costs $64.99 on Revain and let me say it doesn't quite match this one case, not even a bit, and not with other cases I've tried. Advantages of this keyboard case: 1. DESIGN. LOVE the fact that you can rotate the iPad 360 degrees and flip it completely to use it in tablet mode.2. QUALITATIVE. This case doesn't feel cheap. It is very durable and appears to be made of quality materials.3. KEYBOARD. The keyboard's travel is comfortable, and the keys respond very well. The buttons are also of good quality, they don't feel cheap.4. COLOR. I wanted a rose gold case but was concerned it might look a bit childish. I was wrong! The color is beautiful and looks very elegant. It's kind of light pink metallic and I really like it.5. BATTERY. With the backlight on and a few hours of typing a day, it lasted about 3 days. The battery seems to last a long time.6. AUTO SLEEP/WAKE FUNCTION. This one is huge. In another case I received from Yekbee, the iPad did NOT automatically go to sleep/wake. I had to manually press the sleep button on my iPad every time I closed the case to conserve my device's battery. This keyboard case has this function. Every time I close the case, my iPad (and apparently the keyboard case too) goes to sleep. Every time I open the case, my iPad wakes up and sometimes the case too, depending on how long it's been sleeping. This is a very simple feature that really makes the iPad feel like a real laptop. 7.**** APPLE PENCIL HOLDER. It's good that this case has an integrated pen holder; The holder is very firm so I never worry about my Apple Pencil falling out or even slipping a bit. That was the problem I had with the Yekbee I tried. ****CM. EDIT ABOVE8. RGB LIGHT. The keyboard backlight is very cool. It has 3 different brightness levels as well as an off mode and 7 different colors. All background colors look very beautiful and high quality.9. RGB MEMORY. If I select pink RGB lighting at brightness level 1 and then close the case, the keyboard remembers that and the next time I open it it's the same color again with the same brightness level. The Yackby case made me unhappy; Losing the color and brightness I had just selected was very frustrating and I had to switch back and forth between colors and levels to get back to the one I wanted. 10. THIN AND LIGHT ENOUGH. Considering what the product is, you would expect a little more volume and a little more weight. The case does a good job of keeping both to a minimum while maintaining its functionality.11. NO ACCIDENTALLY LOCKING THE IPAD. The key in the upper-right corner of the keyboard, just above the delete key, doesn't accidentally lock the iPad when you try to erase it. Every keyboard case I've ever had had this button in the same place where you can easily lock your iPad with a single touch of this button. The problem has always been that I accidentally locked the iPad because it's too easy to get caught trying to press the delete key. In this case, you need to hold down the Function (Fn) key before the lock key works. This is a really great idea and makes typing so much more enjoyable when I don't have to worry about my iPad accidentally locking.12. BATTERY LEVEL IS POSSIBLE. There is currently no way to check the remaining battery life of a case BY USING the case. There is no indicator light with the remaining amount of battery, no shortcut to switch the battery percentage. The instructions simply say that once the battery indicator turns red, it's time to charge it. I want to know what type of batteries my device has before they run out. It shows a percentage in the Batteries section on the iPad (it shows the Apple Pencil battery in the same place), but I'm not sure if that's correct. If it's accurate then it's great and definitely a bonus of this case. If that's not true, then checking the case's battery level is definitely an improvement that should be implemented. The only reason I'm not sure if this percentage shown on the iPad is correct is because the Yekbee case also shows the percentage, but it keeps changing. Most of the time it was 0% (even when fully charged) and then randomly jumped to 75% or 90% and back to 40% - it was clear you couldn't trust the displayed percentage in this case. But in this case the percentage seems to move in a natural, slow, downward direction and doesn't seem sporadic like the Yekbee, so hopefully it's an accurate indicator of battery remaining in this case. Fingers crossed!CONS: There really aren't any. I can't think of any. Perhaps the only improvement I'd like to see is the ability to keep the backlight on for as long as I want. Currently, the light will turn off automatically if not touched for about 35 seconds. It's still quite long and only takes a single button press to turn it on, but it would still be nice to be able to keep it on all the time. I wrote this review using a keyboard case and couldn't be happier about it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect case for their iPad 10.5. Quality, functionality and price are superior to all competitors. Give it a chance, you won't regret it.
