I bought this for my iPhone 6+ after finding out there are now free apps for it! It's really awesome! I tried an Oculus Rift once and was blown away, so I have reason to compare. What this inexpensive Google Cardboard VR accessory can do is truly amazing considering the price and the fact that it's basically just a piece of cardboard with two lenses attached! menu items. It's a cut out piece of cardboard, covered on top and bottom with a material that activates the touchscreen. So if you press down with your finger at the top of that end, you can tell it's a button, just by touching it. At the other end, when you press with your finger, the longer piece of cardboard is pressed against the screen and since it has this fabric on top, it triggers the desired action. You control its position with this little arrow moving across the screen. It's pretty brilliant! Some quick steps to use. First, download the Google Cardboard VR app and click to open it. Then put your iPhone inside and close it with the attached Velcro. Bring it to your eyes and move your head to see different areas. Moving your head up and down will show different parts of the screen and eventually, depending on the application, you will see some controls or menu items for further study. Then use the cool little button I described! It's easy enough for adults!
